I am Lyric Adamma Mckay. I’m the type of person that you’ll assume is shy and reserved just because I’m not talking. The thing is, I’m not shy or reserved. I either don’t have anything to say or I don’t want to fucking talk to you. If you hung around my friends and I, you’d see that I’m a loud, boisterous and sarcastic asshole with a “fuck you” attitude. I like to yell instead of talk and I’m an extremely open person. I don’t have “trust issues” and I don’t push people out. To be honest I don’t understand it at all and think it’s quite the wast of time. I give you my all and I expect the same in return. I’m very big on respect. I like to surround myself with intelligent people and choose not to associate with moronic bitches simply because I don’t have the fucking tolerance for idiots. Despite all of that, I’m an extremely nice person and I care way too much for people. I’m horribly empathetic to the point where it’s overwhelming for myself. My mind is constantly running and sometimes I just need people to back the fuck off and let me have my time to myself. To quote my best friend, I’m one of those people that just gets it. You could spill all of your issues to me without explanation and I’ll automatically understand and not judge you for it, no matter how small. Honestly, I don’t fucking care if you have “problems.” It doesn’t make you any less of a person and it certainly doesn’t define you. I like to chill out with friends while we pass a blunt or two around and go out to events and be surrounded with amazing, loving people. I have a boyfriend of two years and I can’t imagine what life would be like without him. Music is literally the focal point of my life and you’ll probably always see me with headphones on.
